Thanks for the bump. I'm hoping to have some pics up for all the other stuff soon. Been working long *** days (like 15-16 hours) so I don't have much time off work.
KID Imports. The guy was supposed to get back to me Monday to tell me if they would not **** me on the 25% restocking fee, I've emailed him every day this week and still haven't heard anything back yet. It seems like a lost cause trying to deal with these people... I lose $ either way but it would be nice if their customer service wasn't so terrible. I guess they are just about making a buck at KID.
When he told me that last Thursday I went ahead and ordered from a different company. Two days later it was delivered and has already been installed.

I'm sure I do have one of those connectors. Your talking about the little 3 pin connector thats right next to the service check connector under the dash right? I'm headed away from the area for a couple days, if I don't have a chance to get by my storage and dig in the wiring bins today before I leave I will be able to get you a for sure answer next week.
Yeah the rebuild on my JDM D15B was kind of a biotch as i delved further into it. The damn P08 pistons only being used in the JDM D15B had me scrambling for a little bit. Not having the 96-00 Civic Service Manual at the time was the big delay, thankfully I eventually found out the P07 pistons had the same groove dimensions and same ring to groove clearances. I sure hope that post helped a bunch of people out since the D15B is such a common replacement. Thanks for the props on that!

both of these plugs (service check connector too) - http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/3343/061409162300.jpg
Mine are sort of like warped, not useable.
Btw a bit OT, about your D15B build. Did u succesfully get PMS pistons on the block? What sort of power it made? I also have plans to get sm PMS pistons. So if I get them and some P08 rings, would they be just a replacement, like bolt-on :D. Like wouldn't I have to do any mods to my block? Could i just use the rods from my block?
BTW tunedX, I will get back to you in more detail about the D15B rebuild when I'm back at my computer. Yeah I'm one of those crazy folk who rock HT from the BlackBerry!!!
I never ended up going with the PMS pistons on my rebuild. But from my research the only pistons you can run besides aftermarket in the JDM D15B is P08 (the ones that come in the block from the factory) or PMS from the 01+ Civic GX. The reason is because of compression height on the pistons, P08 and PMS pistons are shorter than say a P28 piston. PMS pistons have less valve relief so be careful if you run them and have an adjustable cam gear. From what I've found they do give you a little compression bump because of this. I didn't run them so I can't provide specifics on how much. But if you decide to go with PMS pistons be sure to get a new set of PMS rings. The rings on the PMS piston are smaller than the P08 pistons in the block. If you go back and read through my whole thread it discusses this and how the P07 rings are the ones you'll use when running P08 pistons.
Swapping in PMS pistons should be fairly simple. Drive out the piston pin, then install the PMS pistons on the rods that are in there. I hope this helps some, and so its easier for you to find, here is a link to my rebuild thread.
