i need to know what will be the advantage over having my stock GSR cam gears, if i get adjustable cam gears.

The advatage is you can advance and retard the timing.

On a B20V, you won't be able to adjust them much from straight up without smacking valves with your pistons. As long as you know, then decide whether it's worth it.

Well, maybe... We don't know some critical information before making a judgement like this. If he is running some stock PHK pistons they have acceptable valve relief. Also we don't know what cam he is running and total lift and duration will also play a role. Also if his head is milled or not.

There are a lot of factors to consider here.

correct.

stock PHK
soon CTR cams
type R oil pump
b16 water pump
skunk2 TB IM
...when i took it to get tooned the guy really stressed having adjustable cams.


rest of internals are stock.
