i just got an ep3, and i don't know what size rims i should get. which are best?

 

the search button wheels are the best but mostly the letmegooglesearchthatforyou.com wheel sizes work for me

oh yeah and there is the ever so infamous picture thread with a ton of wheels in the pics..try there too and ep3 squad where people talk about their car

its your decision on what size you get, personally i would go over 16's but its your car...dont be so lazy next time, these are tons of these threads

i bought 17s for my ep3 i think im going to go 16s on my next rim size and cop me some rotas or volk... there i answered you question in accordance to my opinion cause thats the BEST opinion i can give!

When I had an ep3 I ran 16x7's. I thought anything larger than that looked too big on the car.

 

I am currently running 17x7 with 45+ offset. But I would truely say go with a 17x9 with 35+ offset. That's what I am doing next on the wheels I am getting. All you will need is a mild fender roll.

 

what the hell do you need 17x9 wheels for on a ep3...dumbest **** i ever heard of..it looks so horrible and i doubt there is much functionality by putting wheels of that size on that car.....no offense josh, i know how you like them big deep dish wheels, at least you dont have them in 17's thou...

How sweet, you were thinking of me lol hahaha. BTW, none taken. OP, look around at pic threads and decide for yourself what you like. Either that or if you would like an opinion in functionality of a wheel then be more specific in your question. A lot of different sizes can look good, most people think 15's are too small. I think it depends on the wheel. Another thing to conider is 17's came stock on the CTR so I think they look pretty good. Again, depends on the wheel though.

I think performance will matter more on the tire you use than the size of the wheel. Depends what you're trying to do also. Width plays a part as well in performance. There are a lot of aspects to look at if you're deciding based upon performance.

 

17x9 +35offset... and apparently you have no clue about autox... the wider you go the better you can be around the corners...

17X7.5 a 17X9 would be wider, thus better, but seemingly, wouldn't look any different

i am sorry but i can see a difference in how these look and 17x9 looks ugly imo....there are also a lot of other people that auto-x their ep3 without 17x9 wheels, suspension also plays a lot into getting around corners well not just the width of your wheels

 

true, but the more rubber you have on the road the better... but how it actually looks on the car is all a matter of opinion... personally to me, i think it looks good... maybe if it was a 16 instead of 17 it might look better, but still...
