Default honda's famous crank bolt

I've never had to fight this hard to get this bolt out. I've used every trick in the book, every tool of the trade and still it refuses to move one bit. I've even done better without the tool than with it, and now since I have it and am using it to do this job correctly one would think it would come out. Sorry just had to let off some steam, anyone care to add any tricks that I might have missed?

Did you use the crank pulley tool to hold it in place while loosening the crank bolt?

Last thing I would do if this don't work is heat it up.

Hit it with a gun forewards like for half a sec to a second. then reverse it out. Or you can always try a bigger gun with more torque.

take a set of torches and heat the bolt up till its cherry red (not a propane torch either) heat it cherry red wait till it turns black and heat it again till red and use an impact to get it off it will come super easy i have done it million times works everytime for me, and make sure u dont heat the pulley itself otherwise u will screw it up

PB blaster? I'm still surprised the crank pulley tool didnt work for you. Usually that and a breaker bar always broke the nut for me.

I'm with CG6Accord8o1... Breaker bar with extension. It took me a 5 ft extension to get that thing loose. I only weight 155 lbs, but i could seriously lift myself up. It's crazy. Anyways, that should do the trick.

you can take it to your local mom and pop shop and they can loosen it for you and drive it home, if that makes any sense.

This. I used about a 6 foot bar with the crank tool. You might need something in the neighborhood of 1200-1500 ft/lbs. Put enough torque on it and it will come off. Good luck
