i put new coil and ignitior, and all fuses are fine, also checked all wiring, anyone ever have an igition switch go out on them , what happens how would i know

 

you checked the rotor in the dizzy somtimes they can go and eat at the points on the cap, are you getting spark form the dizzy or are you checking from the plug wires? also when you took apart the dizzy did you make shure that the point that goes in to the coil was still there, it can break very easy!? an would cause this porblem. Hope this helps!

are your dash idiot lights comming on? if not bad ign. sw.

when your turning the engine over, does the tach react at all? (bounce a little) if it does, its something at or after the coil / ignitor
if not, it's something before.

 

thanks all.. i fixed it... it was 1. bad coil 2. bad ignitor and 3. my msd 6a was bad also. but didnt find this all out tell i bout all new stuff and still no spark.. then i took out the msd and wow.. sparked .. thanks all...

 

yeah hoffman!!! the single cam beast is back on the roads of socal. oh, guess what hoffman, yeah, my car just got broken into by none other then the famous Pipey. it was at Unlimited for like an hour while we went to eat and came back to find two broken window missing cdplayer, cd's and the rock that broke the windows spraypainted with a heart on it. Love PIPEY. He's got it coming real soon.
