Caulking-like stuff under hood...what is it and where can I get it?
So, I have a hood that had apparently had a few dents taken out of it awhile ago. This was done by cutting the caulk-like material that attaches the sheetmetal to the frame on the underside of the hood. Of course, now when I wash my hood, the sheet metal flexes and bends under the pressure of my hand, which I find rather annoying.
My question is, what, exactly, is this caulking material and where can I get it? I know it's harder than the average silicone caulk you get at the hardware store.
I want to shoot some more of that stuff under the hood so it regains it's original structural integrity.
