Indy motogp - who's going?
The Indianapolis motogp is just around the corner! August 28, 29, and 30.
Who's going?
Anybody want to have a little /26 get together?
My girlfriend and I will be arriving Friday morning and staying at a friend's place. We might try to make the ama grand national over at the indy mile saturday evening. ( http://visitindy.com/indianapolis/we...ar&p=1#details )

theres no unpredictability left rossi will win again with lorenzo crashing he is so far ahead in the points scale he would have to seriously mess up in numerous races to get it back to a level playing field

Even if he has a huge lead in the championship, there have still been some serious battles and really good races.

i am going... I wanted to just go sunday but everyone is tellin me that you don't want to miss saturday. What should I do, my cousin lives in indianapolis so i could prly crash there for free..... is saturday worth it. Also if anyone has tickets i am looking for some

i've seen some tickets for sale on the wera/nesba/stt boards. you can always just buy general admission tickets at the gate - i really doubt that they will sell out!

I knew Casey was history as soon as everyone caught up on power and got on the same tires. He's a good rider but isn't the total package like Rossi. And by total package, I mean, he knows how to communicate with his garage and he knows how to develop the bike systematically. Jorge, once he gets on the same bike as Rossi, will make it even more challenging! Can't wait for 2010.

arrived back home last evening, completely forgot to check this thread to see who was going or not...
did anybody check out the meridian thing on saturday? it was pretty crazy... we got there after they had filled up and we ended up parking at a white castle, then walking a block or so to get in.

yeah it was insane. great weekend! i was out downtown most of the night. the only schorched yellow daytona 675 out there

i was so bummed to see rossi fall that would have been sweet to watch lorenzo and rossi go at it especially since lorenzo was having such a good day. Did anyone on here go to the xdl competition that was insane.

So, for those that have been to the Laguna GP and the Indy GP............which one was better? Why?
I went to the first GP at Laguna, **** was a F'ing BLAST. Planning to go to Indy next year.

laguna apparently makes for a better vacation with a motogp race attached - that's what one of the folks i went with says, anyway. dude went to laguna back in '05.

Yeah 05 was the first year. If I went to Laguna again, I would prob drive to San Diego met my brother, then drive from San Diego to Laguna.
If Indy, then I would just fly directly there, but then have to rent transportation. I'm sure it would still be a blast though.

yeah but they are crappy cell phone pics, was i the only person who thought they could have planned that better or at least not have done it right in front of the 500cc awards and not juggle announcing them both at the same time idk I just thought it was weird
