Default finallly...how to shut off seat belt warning chime w/o rewiring anything!!

I know its not safe to drive without a seatbelt..know all the dangers that come with it blah blah..but i know some of you hate the dam beep beep beep as soon as you turn on the car at 5am the last thing u wanna hear is beep beep beep 50 times. For less then $1.00 and >1 min of your time it can be GONE!!!

Find a pen laying around in your car, take out the ink stick..look into the seat belt buckle and theres a green tab. Push it down till it clicks with the ink stick and beeping is gone! (until you push the red relase button). My friend that does alarms showed me this trick.

100x easier then rewiring stuff with resistors etc etc...but stilll not easier then to put the seatbelt on! buckle up people!

sounds phuckin stupid to me, the effort you put into trying to find a pen and looking into your belt for a little green tab you could just reach over your shoulder, grab the belt and buckle up

Arent you suppose to buckle your seat belt BEFORE you insert the key and turn the ignition?

Or how about you just buy a spare seatbelt from a honda dealership, cut the straps off and just plug the buckle in. Presto....problem solved and you didn't have to dick with anything.

DONT DO THIS.

If you know how honda's Advanced air bag system works. Its way different than older systems....it recognizes weight , seat position , seatbelt and accident severity to adjust how long and how hard the air bag comes out.

Seatbelt on , the airbag will come out differently.....seatbelt on the airbag will come out faster....

So your putting your life at even more risk. Do not do this. This is why im scared to ever put an aftermarket seat in the car as the seats have weight sensors in the rails.

Dont eff around with this , just put the thing on and enjoy your life.

^ That is some excellent advice and new insight on why one should always wear their safety belt.
