my shift linkage came loose the other day and dropped to the ground....it got bent, so the shop bent it back cause they couldnt find the linkage anywhere...and installed, now when i move the shifter all the way over to the left quickly it sounds like it is hitting something....it also feels a different...could someone tell me what that might be hitting and if its bad.....thanks

 

Get under the car and take a look.

It may be hitting the frame or some heat sheilds.

 

just buy a new one, if you have a friend at honda its cheap. i ordered one from the acura dealership that i work at and it was $50. the regular price was $80. also, do you have a short shifter, if you do it might be hitting your exhaust

 

yeah i do have a short shifter...and when i move the shifter towards first quickly it sounds like its hitting something hollow, so ill check out my exhaust and see...
