Default Racing...now a trans problem

Since you guys know so much about transmissions i figured I would see if you could answer a quick questions before i take everything appart. I have a b-series motor/trans. Turbo charged on slicks and recently put a stage 4 CC in, resurfaced the flywheel, along with a new pilot and throw off bearing. Broke it in for 3-400 miles. Was at the track, launched the car about 4 times and then on the 5th run for some reason i missed second gear. I continued the run and got it into 3rd and 4th with no problems. After I slowed down and and went to put it back in first i noticed what sounded like a grinding noise. If the car is just sitting there and i push the clutch in, just letting it out the slightest bit allows me to hear the grinding type noise, but No where near the actual engagement point of the clutch. What does this sound like to you guys? If i let it all the way out the clutch does engage and i can technically drive it. Just curious what this sounds like it might be?

TIA

I'm def gonna rip it appart Thursday...just looking for some possibilites is all. I was thinking internal since I just replaced everything external but I'm not too familiar with the internals of transmissions in general.

It sounds like your clutch won't let you shift. Same thing happened to me 3 times. Once with a stage 4 and twice with a stage 5. And all that's changed was your clutch and flywheel? If so get something other then a CC clutch this time.

could be u broke a few teeth on the ring gear or maybe even the countershaft gear. its very hard to tell their are alot of parts. u can break 1 tooth on second & it destroy the whole trans.
