Okay heres the deal...i blew my motor
i blew up my f22b series vtec. its got a horrible rod knock or a spun bearing or a bent rod or something....so i wanna trash it, i was going to anyway...
oh its also a 97 4 door accord
has anyone ever swapped in a b series motor into one of these...primarily a b20 or the newer crv 2.4l i-vtec k24a1?
i can get on of these pretty cheap but i was wondering if it worth it...please give me any info reguarding any of this of any advice you got. thanks guys
nolan and chris...we shared the car so we accept full flaming for blowing this motor up...it took long enough

You don't want to get a B-Series for the CD5 Accords. Body is too heavy for those motors. H/F will do. If you have the dough, you can do the K24 swap(Accord/TSX) and its been done.
so.......when you blew your motor, did you spit or swallow?
your choices are:
Cheapest to most expensive
1. F22B
2. H2XA
3. K2X but the engine accessory drive is on the OTHER SIDE of the car so A/C, PS, ATL, etc will have to be reworked in addition to new drive shafts, ECU, trans, mounts, re-wire, etc
