Ok so tonight I decided to take my hatch to work because it was nice out , well on the way home I heard a funny noise and when I pulled over I noticed my drivers side inner fender splash guard was gone . . . does anyone know of a site I could order one from??? or would I be better off getting one oem from the honda dealer ??? ( if they even can get them ) car is a 89 si hatch . . . .thanks

holy ****. yeah, i'd either live without one or buy one at a junk yard. i would try grims down in hagerstown. they have like two rows of ef's down there.

Do the old rigged thing for now and use a sheet of rubber or something.

 

what??? seriously? man, the last time i was down there, i saw lots of them. the hatches, and the sedans should all work i would think. i mean, honda wouldn't make them a different part for a chassis so closely related would they? idk, i'll have to go back down that way again sometime. i like going down there. you can take off the mpfi intake manifolds, and sell them on here to people .

 

The fenders are different so maybe.

 

LoL Yeah grims is pretty fun , I got like 3 dsm blow off valves and sold them and made a lot . . . but yeah I only seen a blue hatch and a white one down there . . . and im not sure if the sedan will work or not?? I thought they were different. . . I would do the rigging thing but my ef is really clean and I would hate to rig something on it when I put so much money into the rest of the car. . . Im just gunna have to make my way down to grimms again and see what I can find. . it would make me pretty sick if I had to pay anymore than 40 bucks even for a new one. . .

 

yeah, i understand that. i like spending money on my car, but i hate when its something as piddley as a fender liner. lol

I had that happen to me...doing about 70 and rrriiipp, just saw it in my rear view mirror and laughed. Junk yard for sure my friend

 

I have lost 2 fender liners before. I even replaced all the clips and it still flew off? Search the junk yard or just bite the bullet and buy a new one at the dealer.

 

Both of mine have blown off, i left it like that. Both blew off when i had my hatch to, i don't even worry about it anymore.

 

i might just spray some rubberized undercoating in there and call it a day!
