will hondata s300 control boost?
well im putting a gsr turbo together. i just purchased a hondata s300 and was wanting to know if i can tune the hondata to a certain boost level (10 psi), or would i need a boost controller of some sort to set it?? any input is much appreciated. thanks in advance
Yes, you can. You can go as low as your wastegate spring (or the creep of your wastegate).

Yes it is an option that needs to be installed if you plan to run the AEM/HONDATA/MAC solenoid through the PWM boost output (A11). If you are going to use something like the dual or quad stage boost controller, then you can use one of the other 3 nitrous outputs. Those can set the solenoids as an on/off only, but can be set on engine specific parameters.

You would then need a boost controller if you wanted to exceed the rating of your wastegate spring...
my friend said the boost solenoid is to run boost by gear only, is that correct? can i just run s300 by the wastegate or boost controller, as long as it doesnt exceed the spring of the wastegate?
Concerning your 2nd question, the s300 system doesn't care if you use the boost solenoid you can run directly off the wastegate using your wastegate spring etc...
thank you very much!! just the answers ive been looking for. i appreciate everyones help in this thread. i will throw more questions out as they come during my build. i trully appreciate it.
