when is it time to change ur timming belt and water pump?
Usually it is recommended to replace them at 90k miles. You should be ok at 70k, but it doesn't hurt to do an inspection (i.e. premature wear or leaks).
I got the timing belt and all the other belts done at 90K. I didn't have the water pump done and I am regreting it more and more. My water pump started liking at 120K and I now have 133K on the motor. Just wait until 90K and have all the belts and the water pump done at once.

Do honda/acura in the US recommend that the timing belt be changed at 90k?
I have had 11 hondas, (5 JDM and 6 UKDM) and everyone of them (in the handbook) recommended the timing belt be changes at 60k miles. In fact every car i ever owned recommended 60k, so thats mazdas, toyotas, nissans, and hondas. i wouldnt feel safe going past 60k on the one timing belt!

I think the interval is 90K for the first time.. and every 60K after that
