I need to find out if my TDC sensor is fried in my dizzy...how and where do you test it?

Are you throwing code 8 is that why you are testing it?

Replace your dist or just the ignitor which is like 75 bucks I think....prob cheaper and better if you buy a dist cause you will prob get a warranty use that **** before it expires..

 

distributor and ignitor all tested fine...I dont know where to go from here ....I need fuel

it throws a code 8 when I crank it for a while but I thought It might just be heating it up and sending the code. I tested the TDC sensor and got 382 ohms and the manual says anywhere from 350 to 550 . I just cant seem to find any answers about the TDC sensor

 

broke down and bought a whole new distributor not reman. ignitor cap and everything....still not it and not throwing any codes still wont start
