ok so i just got a 92 lude si and its idle bounces from 1000-2300.
ive noticed that it does not do it when its cold only when it gets warmed up.
ive checked for vacuum leaks every where
the cruise control was removed.
ive cleaned the Ficv and the iacv and still nothing
drives fine jsut has a bouncy idle.
oh and ive also bled the coolant just to see. still nothing
any help is appreciated or any further knowledge on how to diagnose what is exactly the problem.
and YES ive searched the forums hence all the above.

well what you might want to do is try adjusting the FICV and IACV, on the FICV you can remvoe it and take the plate off one side and see if the plastic ball is securely in place or not, the iacv has a hex head set screw in it that can be adjusted

 

yeah like i said ive done that
fixed the idle so alls well.
um and now my clutch is slipping supposedly even tho its brand new.
what i did was adjust the clutch sensor and the master cylinder diaphram bar thing and it fixed it...till i noticed the damn clutch sensor above the pedal all the threads were f****d up so i got another one on order just to be safe.
