Need help with TPS replacement
Hello all,
I have an 88 CRX DX and it was throwing a TPS code (7). I bought a blox TPS that is supposed to work for all D, B, and H series engines but its not the same as the one I pulled off of mine and it will not work. I attached a pic of the new and old one next to each other. The old one turns clockwise and the new one turns counterclockwise. It's almost like the are mirror images of each other. Any ideas why this is and what am I supposed to do?

Your problem lyes within your engine.. If i am not mistaken you have the d15 motor which is still DUAL POINT correct? If its not mpfi then that new tps wont work. EVery tps is the exact same BESIDES the dual point tps which spins the oppisite direction and will not work. So basically if you need a tps you have to get one off another dual point manifold.
It probably works with MPFI d15's, so i don't know if you have much of a leg to stand on. Did you ask him the exact engine you had planned to put it on? IE: d15b2, or did you just ask d15?
