Default Chipped molding repair?!!>?

I hate how this looks. I want to make it look Factory because this cracked molding with the chrome (why is is chrome?) sht peeking through.

I thought about chipping it all off but I think chrome molding is too Paisa.

All done. Used Jasco paint stripper to softem the rubber from the aluminum and a razor blade to remove, after finishing with 600 sand paper I painted flat black. I was going to remove them but I was lazy and just masked off the surroundings.

all done

If you use rock-chip undercoating first, then paint them flat black, you'll get a near OEM looking finish.

That said, I like the smoothness of plain flat better myself. Nice job.
