Car info: 99 Civic Si with JDM B16a SiR-II


I recently got a code : P1337 for my car. Which refers to the CKF not sending signal or a faulty sensor, as far as I remember. And because of it, my car starts, runs like crap, then stalls.

And when I installed the engine, I didnt do a by-pass, I just swapped out my oil pumps between the engines, and the harness to the CKF is securely on the oil pump, and the connector is securely snapped together. And I was wondering, am I able to swap out the oil pumps and have it work? Or do I HAVE to do a by-pass on the CKF in order for my car to run with the JDM b16?

As a side note...

The connector is pretty chewed up. And from the looks of it, it has a by-pass already connected from the CKF wire, to the wire harness, since the connector is chewed up pretty bad. And I can purchase another sensor, But I just wanted to be sure it will work with this engine first.


So does anyone know if the CKF sensor from the USDM b16 will work on the JDM b16?

hey there. I have the same problem but in the 97 D16y7 engine swap to a japanese ZC motor. THe motor runs great just that the CEL light is on throwing the 1337 code. Can't get it to clear. Also, I have replaced the dizzy & cpk sensor thinking it was the culprit. Still not change, the CEL light remains. I'll be watching this thread can chiming in when I can.
