Default Why is my '92 eating up so much gas?

My car was stolen. it was sittin in the towing yard for about a month...

Everytime i go uphill or downhill the gas meter would move up and down slowly. i wasted more gas when i'm on half tank. $20 bucks lasted me only 3-4 days compare to 1- 1 1/2 weeks. spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, fuel filter have all been replaced about a year ago.

What should be done here?

replace them again..its been too long for spark plugs..i belive that every 3-4 months you should replace your plugs..also are your tire inflated to the rite psi? cause that helps fuel milage if your tires are inflated properly.

the two front tires are really bad. that's why i'm replacing them today. but aren't spark plugs got to be sitting there for at least 2-3 years?

Also check the distributor rotor and the ignition timing.
