most people don't buy stuff here, but they are pretty cool, so if you can grab a pic of the welds they have i am sure anyone here can tell you if it is good quality or not ( judging by the welds) which is usually a good judgment since most of the companies probably use the same materials supplier.

shouldn't runners be paired 1-4 and 2-3 for an n/a header for the same reasons they are paired that way on a divided turbo manifold, or even on the factory 4-2-1 headers??

so other than fitment, what reason would you want the runners paired like the header in question??

maybe their equation made more power over conventional pairings?

Looks to be a Chinese knockoff of the SMSP headers.

Nope, there has been so much R&D over the years for NA headers and I believe this is probably the 6th knock off header that's being made. Let's not go backwards in time, especially from pairing combination that was known to be ideal from a good 8-9 years ago... Feels like this fab forum is still in the stone ages of performance except for a bunch of cavemen who only does welding...lol

so does this go for any n/a header? i was always under the impression that pairing a runner with the next runner in the firing order of the same bank was the best way to pair them for maximum scavenging, and similarly when you make a 4-1 collector if possible you should put the primaries so that they fire clockwise/counterclockwise instead of across from each other.

Those are basic guidelines.. For Honda specific, the moment you slap on some big cams, everything is thrown out the window. It' nothing new that we have NA headers from being top-notch a good 8 years ago (Hytech custom) @ $1600 a piece, to later another company (SMSP custom) at $1300 a piece, then Hytech production @ $900, etc. etc.. etc.. etc.. etc.. etc.... you get the rest. Now it's at $450 a piece, but same design with sloppier welds, warped flanges, weldslags... No need to reinvent the wheel...lol
