I got a JDM long arm rest today. I thought my USDM armrest rear mount would work to secure the arm rest in the back, but it looks like there's no place to mount the rear bracket in my car. It's covered with carpet now, but just feeling over it, I don't feel anything that looks like the little mounting points that the short USDM armrest uses.

It's no big deal as it's not going anywhere since it sits pretty much flush against the rear seats, but I was wondering if it uses a different kind of mount or what? I guess I could tear into the carpet and look, but I'd rather not do that until I'm sure I've got the right mount.

theres a rear bracket the jdm interiors diff than the us only thing that bolts right up
is the front seats rear seats have a different bracket and cross bar
you need to find the eg long armrest bracket

 

Yeah, I suspected that would be the case. Does anyone have a picture of this bracket mounted in the car? I doubt that I'll find just the bracket for sale...so I'll have to fab something if I want to secure the back. It's not bad as it is...it stays put, but I'd like to fab something to keep it still.
