Installed Skunk2 Rear camber kit, but creaks like hell
Well after getting my car out of the shop with the rear camber kit installed, everytime I went over bumps, my rear suspension would creak like hell.
Any ideas on what it could be?
I'm thinking that it's the bushings on the rear camber kit.

Yeah, it's the polyurethane bushings for sure. You could try spraying some white lithium grease in there like I did, but the noise came back and after awhile the grease did absolutely nothing. The squeaking was annoying as all hell. I changed it back to the stock arms and used washers instead to adjust the camber and couldn't be happier.

But damn though, it creaks louder than my targa roof on my del sol already LOL

Why did you guys even replace the rear arm? If your rear arm is in good shape, I much prefer the so called washer trick in the back. The stock units bushings are much better, and the stock unit is strong as is. You do not even really need a camber kit. Just have your toe set to zero and call it a day. You only really need a camber kit up front, and that's if you actually race your car and need the camber adjustment.
So go back to stock, and save yourself the hassle.

Yeah thats one of the side effects. I just live with it (ES swaybar bushings) but it does get annoying and makes my car sound like a pile. Ill be going back to stock front upper arms and probably get some other sway bushings and LCAs.

Guess I'll have to bear with it =(
And? Your point? You could have done the same thing with the stock upper arm. All you would have needed to do is purchase longer bolts and use washers. Most alignment shops already know how to do this and most keep the parts you need in stock. No noise, and trouble free.
How can you run more negative camber with stock components at a specific drop? The answer is... you cant!
Our camber kits were designed to correct camber but I'm happy to see that a crowd has found another use for them. The Pro Series Camber Kits use Urethane Bushings... it's actually a feature we highlight. Squeeking is just par for course. It does not mean they are "Junk" as rZm so politely put it.
Also, DO NOT USE "normal" grease or lubricants to quiet them. You WILL ruin the bushings. You should purchase a specific Urethane lubricant.
Here is a link I found in just a few seconds... the interweb is great!!

If that is his goal he can't, but he also could have limited the noise by using a camber kit that uses harder rubber bushings than urethane on his DD. If he is trying to correct camber than use the stock LCA, but if he wants more negative camber then his only option is a camber kit, but he has other options out there which will not provide the noise and hassle he is seeing now. If they require lubricant then offer it direct from you guys rather then him having to source it out on his own. If this is something common with urethane bushings which it is, then it should be up to the manufacturer to provide it. It's obviously something common with your bushings. As you said, the noise does not make them crap, but does make them a pain. It's kinda like when I buy ACL Bearings, they always include assembly lube. Even Energy Suspension includes lube in some of there kits. It would be nice to get everything from the same place and I really hope you have done something with the quality of your bushings because your bushings do make noise, and as you said not a big deal since it's common, but your bushings don't last. I have a set of LCA's on my car I got from Tony, and I already went through the spare set of bushings I had asked for. Why did I ask for a spare set? Cause I had a feeling that they would go out on me, and they did. I've already got a mold to make my own replacement bushings for my LCA's so I don't have to worry about them ever going out on me again. Even my Pro-Series Camber kit has a cracked boot on my passenger side. Is it a problem, not yet, but for how long they have been on the car I am dissappointed. Hopefully when I call Tony he has replacements in stock, but as of right now I don't need to mess with that.

Hopefully you are a little more loyal to companies that help you out, in the future. Tact goes a long way.

Well great, I will have to e-mail tony and get a new set of bushings then if I got a bad batch like you say. I'll have to ask him about getting a replacement balljoint as well while I am at it. Hopefully these will last a lot longer, especially since I barely even drive the car. Loyality and dissappointment are 2 very different things. I've bought my share of Skunk2 parts for my car, but mostly engine parts, and I still contine to use many Skunk2 parts on our engine builds.
damn, now im worried. i have the pro-series rear and pro series plus front for my car. not on yet waiting to get it back from the body shop. guess i should just sell the fronts but one rear is already on the car
