Default accord type r differences

ive tried searching, and didnt see anything. so i figured id ask.

ive found a few pictures of stock 98 accord type r's on the internet. they look a lot more evil than the stock 99 sitting in my neighbors driveway. whats the differences?

i know the obvious: recaro seats, bigger motor, and 17 inch wheels. they also have a bigger spoiler on the deck. according to what i know of type r's, theyve also got bigger brakes and better suspension.

mostly what im wondering is:
1. what about the bodywork is different? like if i tried to turn a USDM 98-99 accord into a EDM/JDM clone, what would i need or need to modify?
2. on the suspension, other than springs and shocks what is different? im assuming sway bar, steering rack, bushings, etc. but what specifically?
3. what brakes are the type r's using?

the reason im wondering this is that i have the chance to pick up a stone stock 98 accord for next to nothing. im looking to make a clone out of it for my daily, and autocross it as well. so if i stay true to the factory type r, ill get classed better than if i built an evil aftermarket job. and it will also look like the pictures ive seen. particularly this one:

thanks for any help ypu can put my way.

the body is clearly different, you're going to need quite a bit of fabrication to get the job done.

The 98 Accord Type R comes with a 210-215hp H22A7

IIRC the Accord SiR has the F20B (De-stroked H22)

bushings wore out on the 2007 accord, after only 23000 miles . . . not good.
