Default '07 Si Coupe NY - Help choosing exhaust

Ive got an 07 NBP Civic Si Coupe.

Youtube sucks for true sound clips and I need help from those of you with experience.

The exhausts Im considering are:

Greddy Ti-C
Greddy SE
Skunk2 Megapower
Tanabe Concept G
Apexi WS2

Im planning on running it with a Injen CAI and DCRH combo but im open to other suggestions.

So lets see some opinions.

Thanks
Ryan

I have a Buddy Club and it's LOUD, but I noticed a lot better mid power pickup with the exhaust. As for sound it depends on if you want Loud, quiet or deep.

how about mostly quiet, but slightly deep? like the stock exhaust i suppose... but with more performance without the loudness

thank you Ben850...you've officially jacked my post haha.

and yeah I dont want loud and obnoxious. The lower/deeper the tone the better though I do realize its a 4 cyl haha. Im not sure if I go with a louder exhaust, if I will outgrow it and go with something similar to WS2 or if I will enjoy it.

also, anyone else on Long Island here? How strict are the cops with exhaust notes?

i'm moving to long island soon too and i was wondering as well.

i have the vibrant flat black welded to ebay 2.5 inch piping and it sounds really good. i just want quieter so i'm getting a magnaflow muffler welded in as a resonator

edit: you could always go boost as a turbo is technically classified as a muffler

so vibrant is loud? good to know. and also im staying N/A for now. keep the engine clean and last longer. planning to go with a rebuild & boost once i hit 100k. that leaves me...a couple years haha

no by any means. vibrant is very tolerable for the street. i just need something that flows better and is actually quieter than stock. don't ask why

Sounds like you don't want it too loud like me. Apexi WS2 is a good option but you should also consider magnaflow if unlike me you don't mind the look of a round muffler. Should be able to get a deal on the magnaflow from hottexhaust.com if you use a coupon.

Greddy Ti-C - one of the quieter canisters, looks good for a canister.

Greddy SE - one of the quietest exhausts on the market. one of the best looking as well. im getting this exhaust next month or the month after.

Skunk2 Megapower - by far the loudest of all of these exhausts you listed. but has proven power gains and quality build. looks like a typical canister.

Tanabe Concept G - not too sure, but coming from tanabe its maybe going to be around the same sound levels as the greddy ti-c.

Apexi WS2 - popular choice for 8th gens, a good blend of sound and performance, looks stock.

I'm running the HKS Sport Ti and love it. Fit and construction are great and it's not to loud.
Performance also has been inhanced.

The Greddy SE is like the SP2 but has a torched tip. I think its an excellent option. I just don't like how much more it costs over the WS2.

both MSRP at $679.00 on GReddy's website.

although it seems the SP2 is beginning to be discontinued and only the SE will be offered soon.

"Many [discontinued] items have been updated to (will be updated to) the new SE Exhaust line."

http://www.greddy.com/products/displ...&SubCategory=1

now i dont know if I want to get the SP2 because it will become more rare or if I should be one of the first few with the SE...hmmm... lol

I would just buy a custom exhaust it would be cheaper to build and better performing one for that price.
