Need Help Please, ENGINE
I have a 90 accord with a borken engine, already bought a replacement engine, but the replacement is from a 94-96 accord non-vtec.
Someone help answer some of my questions.
1. Will the 90 engine mounts work on the 94-96 engine? or do in need the 94-96 mounts?
2. Do I need new wire harness/ or do in need to convert/rewire it, all sensors and pulgs? is there a site that sells it?
3. Do i need to change out manifold/tranmission?
4. The ECU, will it even work with the engine?
anyone with any idea of what I need to make this work, please post.
The last owner ran the car tell the oil was dried and car work start anymore, so I know that the ECU is still good. The old motor is already out, engine bay is empty.

you'll need to be more specific about a few things if you're gonna get legit answers.
you have a 1990 accord... what type of trans?
you're original motor should be an F22A_ then a number, what is the exact number on the "new" motor F22B_..?
it's important that you know if it's from a 94-95 or from a 96. the 96 will be an OBD2 motor, and you currently have an OBD1 car.
theoretically (i've not tried this first hand), you should be able to run the motor, just reuse your existing manifolds and distributor. this is usually the easiest way to eliminate trouble when swaping within the same engine series.
