Default Silicone Intake?

I was wondering if anyone had a silicone intake for their air intake? I know samco makes some for the integras but was curious if anyone made one for their civic or is using a samco or if there would even be an advantage to this? The only thread I really found on it was in the ITR forum, but it was mainly for the sale of the intake.

Why not just use aluminum like everyone else?

check out siliconeintakes.com, my buddy is in the process of making a custom intake for he integra made from all silicone instead of aluminum pipe which has some advantages because aluminum retains heat. i dont see a downside to running a pull silicone intake might be better for heat but not that much of a difference

HAHA yeah its been a while, but thanks for the website I've checked out it before I was just curious if more ppl were running them, I guess they only do for the slight heat advantage.
