Default keep or trade?

so i have a 95 accord 4door its gotta little body damage (all wich is fixable) 5 speed with a JDM F22b DOHC
now heres the story my accords gotta front main seal leak is slammed, no a/c, no p/s, and needs a deicent tune
well im in school right now and when i get out (march) im moving outta my house into a diffrent one with my lady.. now heres the thing shes pregnant so were gonna be having a baby and i was concerned that the no ac and being a 5speed would be a problem.. so i started looking at other 4door hondas but in auto so i found a 96 integra ls 4door auto with ac ps no engine problems its just gotta little rust on the quarter panels
im just having the hardest time deciding on if i wanna keep mine or get this teg
so let me know what you think

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2231607

my page with all the pics of my car.. the only other thing is it now has a little rust starting on the passanger quarter panel and someone backed into the driver quarter panle

and this is the best pic i could find of the integra let me know what you would do if you were in my position

with all the bills and up comin finances i think i would b a smart choice to get the integra. yea ur right pregnant lady/baby with no a/c ur just askin for probs between u and her(imho). if the engine runs well and doesnt need any major work to it then take it. the minor rust and body damage, u can easily get new panels for those any where, junkyard etc. i say just to doulbe check everything check out the vin number. idk if ur girl has a car or not but once u guys get settled maybe u will have the option of fixin up ur car.

Honestly if I had a kid on the way I would sell my car and get a 96-00 Honda CRV.

Its a good size suv for the wife and the kid and is equip with B20, but thats just me.

In your case yes you definately need a 4 door with ac and tint for the baby

BTW congratulation

I say that the bug will always bite you and you will be kicking yourself in the head for losing it. You accord is a grocery getter already and if ou just found out you have 9 months to fix and add parts in. As for 5 speed, just learn to shift smoothly. But I do agree with allXmotor_eg CRV would be ideal. And congratulations

How about keep your accord and drive it when you don't have the baby with you.

Save up for a "family" car.(basically owning 2 cars)

And when its time to let your accord go you can sell it or keep it.

Profit?

ok that would be ideal but i didnt mention that i also have a 92 hatch with a b16 swap for my "street car" and for some reason everyone thinks that my accord isnt worth at least 3k when the wheels on it were 1100 with tires i can pick out more then 3-4k in parts that i put into it let alone i got the car for 4k when i was 16 so grand total i probably spent around 10k on the car but i know im not gonna get near what i put into it
and this is why its so hard to make a decision because i put so much time money sweat blood everything in this car in the last like 6 years
everyones saying keep the accord and i want to but im gonna have to put the a/c back in the car and im not sure if i have all the lines and condensor let alone its been off the car for probably 4 years so all that moisture has just built up in it so i might have to get a new condensor and or compressor
and the powersteering i dont really need it **** hondas in general dont need power steering its just a perk i guess
well im still thinking about this every input helps thanks guys

In that case I believe you love your accord more then your hatch.

Sell the hatchback fix AC in your accord.

And then you'll be happy.

The Integra is going to be a bit of a stretch for a new family, certainly size-wise but also if you have to float a note to purchase it. Who needs a car note along with rent? Besides, forget your wife/lady contributing to the family finances for a while. Most times the "wife working/daycare" formula ends up a wash. ie: wife/lady works just to make the daycare payments.
I'd suggest avoid spending as much as you can until your personal life gets established.
You're a long way off before you can start thinking about toys again. Sorry

You can always keep the Accord. 5spd shouldn't be a problem if you're good at shifting whether granny shifting or double clutching. lol

its a good point but my mother has had a daycare out of her house for i wanna say 16 years so while were at work my mother will be taking care of my baby

i just keep going back and forth because of how the engine is i beat the **** out of it so its not as reliable as i would like it to be.. but heres an idea i came up with a little bit ago.. trade my civic for the integra (plus a little cash on his side) then do another engine swap on the accord either an H23a vtec or the F20b (i belive its b cause i think the s2k is F20c)
so i can have my fun weekend car/family car if it needs to be and then my family car being auto

The CRV is a great option for a new family.... easy to drive. If you got a wife and kid, you should really consider letting go of either the hatch or accord. For safety's sake, the Accord is a larger car and should be safer when transporting a child and hatches are a hot ticket now that should sell easily.

Plus consider the future... I would hope you have aspirations for the future... you can always re-live your dreams in a few years.... that's why old men buy 65 Mustangs and such... they are just getting a car they wanted as a youth, but maybe had to sacrifice for the family, same as you.
