What turbo kit is better? FMAX or DRAG
I have a JDM H22a in my 95 Accord and was wondering what complete kit was best to buy, FMAX or DRAG? I have seen some websites that put DRAG kits down, but what is the actual truth about them. Thanks!
I like fmax. Fit perfect. Came with an MSD boost timing module (retards under boost). Manifold already had a port for exhaust gas temperature probe.
Some people dont like the two intake injectors. I didnt use em. I already had a vafc and 500cc injectors so for another $100 I got an FMU.

greddy relaced a turbo kit for the h22, dont know if anyone is running it. and i know they make a f-max kit for an h22, there was one in honda tuning running an f-max kit. consided of their exhuast manifold, piping, but turbonetics t3/t4 hybrid super 60 tuboand deltagate wastagte, says it daily driven at 12 psi. used fmax 'magical' head gasket.
Drag just came out with the new Gen IV kit for preludes and accords. Drag uses the same components as fmax except for the fuel setups. Personally I dont like the fuel setup on either kit. Drag also makes kits for accords with H22 swaps. I would buy the drag kit and either use the greddy emanage or, if you just want to run a max of 11 psi, you can use the VAFC hack.
Also, you do know that H22s dont last very long under boost. They really need to be built to be reliable under boost, unlike the F22.

I talked to someone in another forum who said he had a F22 with a turbo and when he switched to H22 all he had to do was get a H22 turbo manifold and it all hooked up fine.
What is the web site for DRAG?

How long to h22's usually last under boost? If you only had the h22 at a set PSI of around 8 then shouldnt the engine last just as long as a boosted f22 with the same PSI? What would have to be done to the engine in order to handle the boost properly?
For Drag kits check out overboost.com or importparts.com. Importparts.com is where i got my kit and they have good customer service. Ask for Ben, he will give you a rock bottom price and you can even delete parts of the kit to lower the price. BTW, people knock drag kits b/c they have no website or phone number. Who do you call if you turbo, wastgate, or fmu ***** up? If you call turbonetics they will replace your turbo or wastegate and vortech will do the same. What else on turbo kit could malfunction? There are really only a few parts that could break.
