now i need help, i plan on building a N/A d16z6, just to see how much power i can squeeze out of it without a meltdown
my goals:
200whp
7500 rpm
minimum of 13 sec 1/4 mile
this is going in a 91 civic hatch
i know compression is the way to go, but i've used solblu's compression calculator, and my planned setup comes out to 13.1 compression which is not streetable
any suggestions?

There are a lot of dynos of D series builds posted. You just need to see which combination meets (or gets close to) your goals.
200 at the wheels in an NA D series is probably not going to be a daily driver. You should talk to Bisi - he has a lot of D series experience and can help you set and achieve a realistic goal. He can also get most of the parts you are going to need.

^^^ well said and 100% correct. You dont need 200hp to hit 13s with a D. A pretty simple build with some good headwork and a good header will get you around 170. The big thing with the D is the gearing. 4.9 FD, 1st 3-4 geat set and you can easily be in the 13's if not 12s
Here is 140 pages of information (with a number of builds and dynos)
