Newbie here - Help me unclutter my engine bay!!
Hey,
I'm fairly new to the whole honda tuning scene and bought my first boosted EF a few weeks ago after selling my EG B16A2 swapped coupe. I'm a fairly meticulous person and I like things clean and orderly. The car was a very good deal, so I figured I'd buy it and put some work into it.
I've been going through the engine bay wiring and interior (under dash wiring) and I've already pulled out a whole bag full of terrible alarm, HID, and unnecessary stereo wiring. Most of the wires are/were just tied together and electrical taped together which scares me a lot! I have a lot of heat shrink, solder, and wiring loom that I'll be using to clean up the bad stuff.
My major question is, what parts (especially off of the firewall) can I safely bypass and get rid of inorder to clean up the engine bay some more? I see that there are a bunch of vacum lines attached to a part on the firewall, a round looking can (fuel lines go into it??), etc..
thanks a lot!
Stephen

if you want to unclutter you should check out chasebays.com or rywire.com
run the clutch cable under the intake manifold
remove unneeded brackets
delete the charcoal canister
-take that nasty unloomed wire shorten it and tie it to the harness or loom it
try this this is a good start for ya!
