Default Best Valvesprings for Skunk2 PRO 1's

Hi

What are the best valvesprings to use on a Turbo LS/B16A application using Skunk2 Pro 1 cams : 9000 - 9500 rpm redline ??

Supertech
Skunk2 Pro series springs

Ive also received info on "special 100psi seat pressure" Supertech valvesprings - any feedback on these.

@ people using Pro 1's in Turbo applications ; which valvesprings are you using ??

Thnx in advance

You should match the cams to the springs.

They are actually good for an 11k rev. The Tuners are good for 10k.

I have ferrea high pressure springs for my pro1's.(I think 100lbs seat pressure), I think I remember reading somewhere skunk2 pro series were 85lbs seat pressure. Obviously there are more important things than just seat pressure to worry about. I would have bought the skunk2's, but the ferrea's were a package deal, and if they grind away the cams, **** happens.

I guess the guy at skunk 2 lied to me then when i told him what i wanted and responded by telling me only about the pro springs and pro1's thats my bad and if you are going from their web site they test the springs at 11k and the pro1 and pro2 are still a "street/race" cam

Do you know who it was that you spoke with here at Skunk2?
If you are running our Pro Series cams, we will not recommend a Tuner Series spring. So technically nobody here lied. The Pro Series springs will tolerate revs up to 11k. The Tuner Series will support revs to 10k.

as for the odd combination of parts I’m not sure, but I do know about the pro1 cams since that’s what I use I would go with at least 85lbs springs, I use 94lbs springs

I'd probably go withgdifferent cams. Pro1s are gonna be a bit much for NA.

The Pro1s are pretty aggressive. I know they were once used NA like, 1000 years ago but lots of folks lost power rather than making it. They've shown to be quite the impressive bumpsticks for turbo though.
