question about CTR cams

Default question about CTR cams

i want to put ctr cams in my b16 head..my question is this..wut other mods do i have to do when i put ctr cams in there..cuz i hear different things..like modding the head a bit or something like that..can anyone of you guys a right possible answer..thanx alot

drop them right in. If Im not mistaken tho the ctr has dual valve springs on the intake side?

oem is cool but skunk2 is just as good.

true dat..but if i do get either or cams..wut will i have to do to the head..do i have to put better value springs..etc...

i would just to be safe but depending on what cams you choose. make companys tell you if you need upgraded springs or not.

Another thing to think about when upgrading your springs and retainers is how high your going to rev that puppy up to. If its only going to 7500 then no need. If its going to see 9000 then its time to upgrade

trying to remember what we did to my friends car. We swapped intake springs to the exhaust side and added ITR intake springs to the intake side. Cheap,and worked reaaalllly well. or just buy a full ITR valvetrain. If you want to really take advantage of the CTR cams,or ANY cam,get something to tune the car with,and a decent header.Might as well take advantaage of your new parts,ya know.....

dual valve springs are a plus^^^^^^^tuning will also let that engine breath a little better in the higher rpm range...say 9000rpm
