Hi everyone i just swaped a GSR into my EK with Innovative billet mounts. I have a concern about the bolts on my drives side mount, the ones that are 14s. I used my stock bolts but a friend told me that the stock length bolts won't hold because their too short and would strip out, that i need to use longer bolts. Is this true? should i change these bolts to longer ones? anyone have da problem hes describing?

 

no, hes wrong, your fine, tons of people use the mounts, including 2 of my friends, with those bolts, one for over 3 years, with 0 problems.

x2 on using the stock bolts.

I would only see reason to change teh bolts if you got solid race mounts. even then it might not be necessary. our motors arent exactly super heavy and snapping bolts ever

 

i'm using the stock 14 bolts and using innovative mounts been like that for over a year. I'm also a fairly aggressive driver if that makes you feel any better.
