have you listened to any speakers that you liked? I'd recommend going to the car stereo store and listen to some. The web is one of the cheapest places you can find speaker.

I have the infinity 652i reference speakers in my car, and they sound really good imo. For the budget of 150, I'd consider on just getting front speakers. Save some more money and get the rears later. But if you really want both, I'd take a look at

Infinity Reference Series 6-1/2" Speakers 652i
Infinity Reference 6952i 6"x9" 2-way Speakers

here are some places on the web you can look for prices:

there are some other web sites, but i'm too lazy to look...just search yahoo or something. Hope this helps

Thats not alot to spend. And if you dont run an amp to those 6*9's their not going to do anything. My friend is running like 4, 3 inch speakers and 2, 6*9's on a sony head unit and you can barely hear the 6*9's. Also, go to Sound Advice or an equivalent to buy the speakers. I went there to get a whole new system and ended up buying Boston RX57's, $130 a pair and a Alpine CDA-7894 Head Unit for $279. Best Buy didn't even have speakers that much money, and the speakers I bought at were the low end stuff at Sound Advice. They had speakers that were $800 a pair and like 6 1/4 in size. I guess I'm sayin' you might want to pay up for some better speakers as I felt bad putting in a half-assed system in my car, you didn't build your car half-assed, why do your stereo that way?

get some nice components up front with the money you have now, and save later for the rear fill. Infinity 605cs (reference) for the smooth tweeter, or Infinity 60.5cs for the kappas are both great deals at around $119 and $170 respectivly.
