okay lets make this short and simple
driving on freeway when i get to where im going NO vtec
throwing a code 22 for pressure switch
checked voltage to switch, good. solenoid clicks
all wires are hooked up fine
good oil level
ONE more thing ECU is in "limp mode"
only can rev to 6500

i have a b17 with jdm b16 pistons and head
running stock p72 ecu

HELP PLEASE!?!?!

 

start with cleaning the oil screen on the solenoid then reset the ecu

shouldnt be in limp mode for a vtec code... thats weird

 

screen is clean!
and i already reset ecu
also dont have a knock sensor
but i never had one and it was never a problem
also did a valve adjustment for the hell of it and it didnt work
and i dont have an o2 sensor but that didnt do anything either

i bump when its hella late
so lets try this

 

got a code 22 and i was on limp mode. car bogs when rpm is at vtec range during acceleration.

 

i have the same ordeal
jdm d15b. rev limiti of 6k.
code 22. everything is wired correctly..but no vtec and grandma rev limit
i tried a p06 the rev limit is then 5k and still no vtec(obviously..p60)
so the ecu changed it but didnt help. and i havent tried a dif dizzy which could be the problem
