OT: well my first car show didn't go too bad...
after thinking i wouldn't win anything, i did manage to snag 3rd place in best of jdm which was surprising. but overall the show was weak, our crew had by far the nicest cars and most of the other cars were pretty much rice. well here's a few pics.

jdm recaro's, jdm non srs steering wheel, toda headers, kakimoto n1, spoon wheels(they're considered jdm i guess), mugen this and that, i guess if it's hard to get at any import shop they consider it jdm. i think mostly the seats and steering wheel gave me an edge.

I entered in Import Eurasia in Baltimore a couple months ago. I wanted to go for "Best JDM". I ended up winning "Best Acura". Marty with his very nice MUGEN bodykit'd CRX won "Best JDM". That kit is very rare.
Don't flame for me showing. I track the car every chance I get...
Thanks,

I don't get it..... sometimes I think those judges now crap of what they're doing.
If you do those conversions to your USDM R to a JDM R, it won't be an Acura anymore, it will be a Honda Integra Type R, so how come you won "best Acura"? Judges
In the case of '00TypeR, his is a USDM R and won 3rd as best JDM. Although he's got many JDM parts but, it doesn't make it a JDM like someone said already.

considering the fact that there was probably a very LOW number of 'clean' jdm hondas present at that show, it isn't surprising to see an ITR with a few JDM parts win. Considering the majority of the cars there i saw in pictures were civics with vinyl, i guess his must have stood out in some sort of way.
So congrats!

i give him a
because he clearly said he wasn't expecting to win anything, let alone a JDM award.
