" 2009 Honda Civic Type R " in United States
It won't, the main testing bench for the Type R if there was one was the Mugen Civic, which didn't sell well so I doubt Honda will bring over a Type R version.

overpriced civic with the same hp as the reg Si, why would it sell good, honda made a bad move on pricing when it wasn't really worth it for just getting a different look.

The EDM CTR is not the same as the JDM CTR.
why do people ask this question at least twice a week? If it was coming to America this forum would be flooded with info. plus Honda would have a lot of hype leading up to the release. If they did it would be no sooner then 2011-2012 because that's when the 9th gen will be released. Even then its HIGHLY doubtful because theft rate would go through the roof ex. integra type r

Honda never really advertised the Si, at least in the same manner that the Accord and Odyssey are advertised.
The only Si advertisements on television that I see are for local Honda dealerships, whereas there are plenty of nationalized Accord and Odyssey commercials.
The same would go for the CTR.
I'm not so sure about that.
