Does anyone know based on by number below what would be causing them to be so high? What can I change to reduce these numbers, anything specific? I have some thoughts, and been doing some research, but I would like a fresh perspective. I know a couple people here know there stuff about emissions.

-new pcv
-new exhaust
-94 Octane
-clean motor
-fresh oil change

get a fuel cleaner and slap 2 bottles in there.,. drive for 15 min......
change spark plugs......put a new O2 sensor($35)
that should help

retard your timing and mess with your idle

 

The car idles fine, and the timing appears fine. How long should the stock OEM catalytic converter last? I have 255 000KM.

 

Not that long. Also, drive the car around for about an hour before you take it in to be smogged. When you get to the station, leave it running. That way the cat doesn't get to cool down.

 

replace your cat with a cheapo universal one, and then go to your autoparts store and buy a one liter bottle of "methyl hydrate" - pour this into your tank when it is full and you should pass no prob.

 

Ya, I think I will replace the CAT. I already put a bottle of "Guaranteed To Pass" in my tank http://www.autobarn.net/ch05063.html and I will re-test on thursday. Thanks guys, and I will keep you posted on the results!!
