i started my car this morning and noticed that my green S light indictor on my dashboard was on...i read in my manual book that this may mean its stuck in the sports mode but i didnt press any buttons so i find it hard to believe that could be the problem...my question is could it be a major problem with my transmission period?? and how much do you think that it would run me??

p.s- i'm kind of scared about this because i jus spoke to Aamoco about it and the woman told me it would run about $2,000.

 

Is it just on and not blinking? If so try pushing your sport shift button on the side of the gear selector and see if it goes off.

 

yes...its just on and not blinking...i also tried doing what you said but it did not work...i just recently got a call from the place i took it to today and they told me it was an electrical problem...so im thinking it has something to do with my TCM (transmission control unit)....do you know anything about that?
