reoccurring problem... help if you have any idea!!
I have 2001 honda accord... 2 dr v-6
once a month or so, my check engine light will come on..
when this happens, my car when in neutral or clutch is pressed down the rpms will go really low(to about 100 rpms) and then go up to about 400.. the car begins to rattle.... usually my idle runs about 800-1000 rpms... what's weird is if i am in neutral and my rpms are running low i can pump the brakes repeatedly and the rpms will climb to 1000 or to a normal idle speed...
any idea what this could be??
i've tried raising my idle speed but that doesn't work...
