i have a ebay cold air intake and i wanted to know if an aem bypass valve would function on it and keep the water out? ive heard that aem cai have a special flap that closes when the filter is submerged in water and air is then rerouted to the bypass valve is this true? thanks

have you ever had an old wet dry shop vac with a hole or a crack in the hose? It doesent pick up water or particles very well, same principals basically just refined. Go to aem and search you will find a vid of a guy taking a intake hooked up to a engine and submerging it in a fish tank you can see the process it's cool. if I find it ill post a link.

 

Works for me when I take my car out for a spin in the lake.
