Default Easy D16A swap help!!

Good day guys as of this weekend I did a swap on a friends civic 01 LX wit the D16Y7 with auto tranny. Everything bolted up fine and we did the intake swap. so we wouldnt have ay sensor probs ot wiring issues...

Now the only sensor we see that will nont be plu and play are the Crank position sensor and the distributer. The engine he ported in was a D16A.

Requesting suggestions on what is the quick fix on the ECU and distributer plug changes, pin out changes and or swap.

I suggested he get the ecu OBD1 harness to use a P06 with auto ecu. But stuck ourselves on the distributor situation.. . the hanesses are completly different and O2 sensors were 4 wires now it a single .

This swap was not for a ***** to the wall type swap it was jus t to get the car going again.. .any help would be cool... thanxs honda Fam

the wiring is going to be a bitch. the 01 came with a d17 which had the coilpacks not a distributer.

why didn't you just grab another D17 off car-part.com for $200?
