ANyoen Located around Santa Clara, CA area that can help me on my swap.. i finish the swap.. but the car is havin some probs.. idles fine. but when i step on the gas pedal it dies.. I did a b16a3 swap into 90si running.. a p30 ecu aswell

 

what could be wrong with it.. it was in running condition when i took it out of a Delsol..

 

everything came out of my frends car. when he got into an accident. i pulled everything out from hiscar.. ..

 

would it work if i try to plug in my 90SI ecu? with that swap./ i didnt want to try somethin to mess it up

 

I have a pigtail harness so i can take it out and put my old one back if i wanted to..

hey guys i got it.. thanks... it was my wiring to the distrubitor...

 

i gues its still wrong im gettin a 9 code on my ecu... my car juss died this mornin.. Anyone got a b16jspec dist i can get.. or Shai.. email me urnumber again.. i lost it..

 

try switching the plugs between the MAP and TPS. if they are reversed, it'll cause the exact symptoms your describing

ok let me go home and try this.

 

1. what wiring harness did u used ?
2. unplug the tps and your map sensor then start the car
3. i have a 89 b16a dist no plug tho
4.double check and color code on the dist i think u plug it wrong
5.try using u'r old ecu if u get the same prob. its not the ecu
6 double check your wiring
