Ideas for some EG mirrors?
Hey all, I wasn't sure where to post this, but I think this is the best place. I've got a 92 hatch and one of my kids broke my driver side mirror off...... Anyway, I'm looking to replace both of them with something other than the stockies, what do you guys suggest/like? Pics?
thanks
thanks
Nice Mirrors
F1 Mirrors (Better visablity than you would think)
Spoom Mirrors (Horrid visablity. I have the one where I can adjust the glass no problem but they still suck either way)
Best visablity
Stock EG
Stock EK (needs modification)
All I can think of from the top of my head.

Arthas, I can't... she's too cute and only 4. She was riding her bike and fell against it and snapped it forward. They're going on my track car, so retractable ones aren't an option as they'd be the most electrically complicated thing on my car. Other than the engine/fuel stuff, that title is currently held by my horn.
OneFire, the Spoom Mirrors are the ones that are the little C-shaped ones that don't have any kind of extender like the OE ones do right? Since they're going to see track use, would visibility be as much of an issue as it would be on the road? If so, would the F1 type hold up to track use?
Thanks again guys.
Any other suggestions?

Yeah, the replica spoon mirrors are the ones that are little C-shaped. I can't speak for real spoon mirrors but every set I've encounted and had a chance to use have had really bad visability. If it's for your track car I honestly wouldn't use them. They're more a form over function piece. If you do buy them, make sure you don't have the convex on the wrong side. That's what I have right now and it sucks. Up close it doesn't seem too bad but as soon as it's on the wrong side the image is amplified.
I honestly would take my replica spoon mirrors off if I didn't have a wink 5 panel mirror.
As for F1 mirrors. F1 mirrors come in a lot of different styles. Make sure you buy the one you like best or if you want just PM me which styles
I was really suprised for such a small mirror it had great visabilty. I think it has to do with the mirror arms extending out and its great flexiblity of adjustment. But because of this they don't really work well for daily driving imo.
Depending on which style you get the mirror will have to be adjusted with the mirror off. It takes a long time to get it right. And if anyone in a parking lot walks by and hits your mirror accidently it will throw off your adjustments. Making you take off your mirror again and stablizing the adjustments so it's not loose.
The F1 mirrors adjust two ways. The mirror itself and bottom of arm. The bottom of the arm is where you have to adjust on the inside for stability.
I hope this helps. I honestly didn't know I typed that much lol.
