Those who have done the 99-00 Si cluster swap.
I have been searching through so many posts but never really found the answer I needed. If you have done this swap, did you splice the harness together with the plugs from the 96-00 civic or did you depin the plugs and just repin the new plugs in to the dash harness? If I were to depin the plugs and repin, will the plugs reach? seems kinda tight. Cluster is going into a 91 Si Hatch
and here's a site where the picture links aren't dead.. lol

What i did, and what i recommend, is to splice the harness on to the old one. the plugs are not very long to begin with so might as well add some wire in there just to make things a little easier.

11 wires out of 17 going to match the color, u can use the forum or search the pinout, its very easy. i kept the old plug on and i just attach the wire into it, so for some reason i need to go back, i able to plug it back in. and u just need the speed sensor of integra or civic 92-95. the only thing is my rpm is off. i using a stock p72 ecu and it show i rev up to 9000rpm and my vtec kick in around 5200rpm.
i think its off, vtec should be at 4400 and redline at 8200. but it is a 97 auto cluster with si faceplate.(it was given to me) but try this google.com and search "99 si cluster in crx" click on the first one. sorry i would give u the link but i'm at work couldn't cut and paste on this computer.

The pins from your ef wiring harness won't fit into the 99 si cluster if I remember correctly. Can't remember what kind of bracket I used to make it fit securely, did the cluster swap like 5 years ago. Just make sure you give yourself enough extra wire, but not too much.
u have to use the pigtail of the 99-00 si cluster then match the color of the wires, and there's few wires are different, best to get a pinout from crx and 00 si to match it up. so far, u have to take off 2 bracket on the crx where the old cluster bolt on to in order to get it to fit inside.
then just bolt the top part back in. its a tight fit, your cluster wont' move anywhere. i m sure there's a way to bolt it down, but i didn't bother with it never move out of place.
