I've converted my auto DC to a manual half a year ago and I pretty enjoy the stick shifting so I am a nooooob pretty much

the thing is: I always shift soooo slow from 4-5 because the shifter doesn't go like 2-3 since 4-5 is opposing the shifter springing back

honestly you need not to worry about the speed of your 4th to 5th shift. in 1/4 mile racing, you really shouldnt be getting into 5th gear anyway.

and if this is a on the highway question, it is out of the question.
