^^not legaly... they dont like the whole light truck motor in a car thing.
friend had one, never got it legal 2 years trying got pissed sold it.

inless i was givin the wrong info, they are illegal and i have heard many people say they are illegal.
also i was cali wont do jdm swaps, in cars that didnt orginaly have the engine, in it. so no jdm gsr in a civic.

If you want to stay legal in CA then get a single cam vtec d series motor.

B/D/K series you have to make it legal to drive without getting harrass by cops.

 

Do cops in cali pull people over on the way their cars look.? ex: modified as they call it.

 

Well. I had a. B series before then got stolen but never took the time to get it legalized .. how can I do that. And cops wil pull you over if they see you have an aftermarket exauust , it happened to me he said that the exaust looked big , he didn't pull me over for loud just for big .. it sucks

well you can find full swaps, for around a grand, and then just other random things youll need shouldnt be more then 2k

well if your in cali i would just recommend single cam v-tec.... cops wont mess with that....

 

I had a b16a with dc headers and fujita intake ... it was. On its prosses of building , but since I had a b series I dunno about a single cam =/
