I was putting on a new door lock actuator a few weeks ago and the little metal ring on the back of the key cylinder went flying when I popped it off. I have not been able to find it, and without it, there is nothing to keep the linkage from the key cylinder to the lock in place, so the cylinder just turns without doing anything.

It's the black metal ring in the foreground.

I don't want to buy a whole new cylinder just to get that piece. Is that a generic part that I could get from a different car or different source?

Or if anyone wants to sell me one for less than the cost of a cylinder, let me know.
