door trim clips (ARGHHH!)
Every time i try to get some from the junkyard they f....king break on me! Im not talking about the clips for the fender or quarter panel trim, because they are different. Is there anybody out there who has DIYed some type of clip for these things? Ive been racking my brains and i need some inspiration. And im not glueing them on, so dont even go there.
i did see somewhere where someone machined some new ones. BUT you can get the red ones from the dealer.
for one of my door trims i got the red one from the dealer for the front and used 3M double sided tape on the spots where the white ones go and its holding just fine

Remove screw from the rear of the door (shuold be a 10mm on inside of doorjam) and gently tap the trim forward with a deadblow or plastic hammer. Note you can only pull trim off the door slightly as not to kink it. Be patient and you should be able to get all the clips, you may have to take door panel off as some will fall into the door.
im not sure if you have a HB or sedan, but in my sedan if the clips fall inside the door, they're inside a boxed in portion of the door that there is no way to get them out (unless you cut into it i suppose).
Yeah, I broke EVERY SINGLE EF molding clip at the U pull it. You take off the 10mm and push molding forward, then spin the clips 90* to get out. Red one would not come out for me so I just yanked it out
